Fit / Measurement guide

Find your
best fit.

Formal tailoring depends on precise measurements. Measure close to the body, keep the tape level and compare your results with the garment chart below.

Savile body measurement guide
Before you choose

Measure once.
Choose well.

Use a soft measuring tape over a shirt or close-fitting layer. Stand naturally and ask another person to help where possible.

01

ChestMeasure around the fullest part, keeping the tape horizontal.

02

WaistMeasure around your natural waist without pulling the tape tight.

03

ShoulderMeasure straight across the back from shoulder point to shoulder point.

04

Inside legMeasure from the crotch seam to the desired trouser hem.
